Broad ligament fibroid in treated breast carcinoma patient
Fibroids are the most common benign lesions of the uterus and genital tract and rarely can be extrauterine in origin. The broad ligament fibroids, even though having a low incidence, are the most common extrauterine firoids. This is a case of 36 years old nulliparous woman treated for invasive carcinoma of breast with infertility, with broad ligament fibroid presenting with abdominal pain, reported for its rarity and operative experience
A 16-year-old with borderline mucinous tumor of the left ovary
Incidence of ovarian malignancy in children and adolescents is 1 to 1.5% with non-epithelial tumors being the most common type. Ovarian mucinous tumors commonly seen in third to sixth decade, are rarely seen in adolescents. Timely diagnosis and management are important to save patient’s life and fertility. We are presenting an interesting case of a 16-year-old girl with atypical borderline mucinous ovarian tumor.
Detecting Abusive Language on Online Platforms: A Critical Analysis
Abusive language on online platforms is a major societal problem, often
leading to important societal problems such as the marginalisation of
underrepresented minorities. There are many different forms of abusive language
such as hate speech, profanity, and cyber-bullying, and online platforms seek
to moderate it in order to limit societal harm, to comply with legislation, and
to create a more inclusive environment for their users. Within the field of
Natural Language Processing, researchers have developed different methods for
automatically detecting abusive language, often focusing on specific
subproblems or on narrow communities, as what is considered abusive language
very much differs by context. We argue that there is currently a dichotomy
between what types of abusive language online platforms seek to curb, and what
research efforts there are to automatically detect abusive language. We thus
survey existing methods as well as content moderation policies by online
platforms in this light, and we suggest directions for future work
A successful pregnancy outcome following embolisation for post modified Manchester Fothergill haemorrhage: an interesting case report
Genital prolapse is one of the most common disorder affecting women of varying age group; though it typically affects older and parous women. Malfunction of the pelvic support is the most common cause of this disorder. Increasing age and excess weight are established risk factors for pelvic organ prolapse. In young nulliparous women conservative surgery is preferred to preserve the fertility of the patient. The approach of surgery can be either vaginal or abdominal depending on the classification of prolapse. We reported a rare case of a 36-year-old P1L0 (IUFD1) A1 with cervical elongation who was apprehensive to have a child. She was managed at our institute and had a successful pregnancy outcome in spite of undergoing embolization for secondary haemorrhage following modified Manchester-Fothergill operation
Effect of glucose and nitrogen source on caffeine degradation by four filamentous fungi
432-434A time bound study of caffeine degradation by
fungi, viz., <i style="mso-bidi-font-style:

Gliocladium roseum, Fusarium solani and
Aspergillus restrictus, isolated from the coffee pulp was
undertaken. The degradation was studied at 1 g/L concentration of caffeine with
1-8 g/L glucose, and with or without nitrogen (NH4Cl) source at 2
g/L in minimal liquid medium by subjecting to shake flask culture at 120 rpm
and 30°C. The caffeine degradation was analyzed up to 7 d at 24 h interval
by HPLC. It is evident from the present study that varying concentrations of
glucose did not affect the caffeine degradation by all the four test fungi.
Over all, C. keratinophilum showed
significantly higher rate of caffeine
degradation compared to other test fungi, irrespective of presence or absence
of nitrogen source in the medium. However, the caffeine degradation by C. keratinophilum was on the higher side
in the absence of nitrogen source. In contrast,<i style="mso-bidi-font-style:

restrictus showed better rate of caffeine degradation in the presence of nitrogen source in the medium.
